I’m so glad you’ve met me here.
My name is ShaRon, the visionary behind this segment of Her Walk. As a young woman, I’ve had so many experiences that attributed to the woman I am today. The good, the bad, the ugly...all made me!
In recent years, I’ve made the decision to start digging...and I mean REALLY digging...deep.
I guess it would be nice to give you a quick background of who I am. I’m 31 years young...and I mean that honey. Lol I was divorced at 29 and now in a healthy relationship with a great guy! I work in Corporate America as a Finance Control Manager (the fun stuff...not so much). I’m a woman’s woman! I love all things feminine, I love seeing other women win. I love dressing up, getting my hair and makeup done. Traveling is what I would consider to be one of my passions! Currently trying to overwhelm the pages of my passport. Most importantly, I love God! We locked in fr.
Now that you’ve gotten to know me just a bit, I hope that makes the purpose of this segment a little clearer. After so many life experiences that were what I’d call, a little less than ideal, I had to step back and assess some things.
Why did I have to go through the not so beautiful things?
Why did it seem like I was losing more than gaining?
How did I really see myself? And how was I showing up in the world?
After all this I realized...I was operating from the condition of my heart. There were pieces that had been chipped away, a little scarred, or just simply uncared for since I was a young girl. And as that scripture Proverbs 4:23 says, everything you do flows from your heart.
So I had to get real with myself and my healing. I had to fix my heart because it was the filter that everything I spoke, heard, thought and did flowed through. Then the game changed!
I figured that I can’t be the only one that needed this wake up call. I can’t be the only woman/girl that needed the reminder...to do the work! So My goal is to build a safe space, a sisterhood of women and girls committed to walking through this journey together.
Committed to seeing themselves and other women healed, whole and free.
In Heart + flow...we’ll bust it up, we’ll be vulnerable, we’ll share our stories, because there’s so much wisdom to found within them.
Come on sis...let’s do this.
Ps: I’m a big music lover so every week I’ll be giving y’all a vibe! Aka what I’ve been listening to on heavy rotation.
